Welcome back! We were so happy to be back together again after a long weekend, especially because Ms. Beth was back!! That was super exciting. The weather was pretty nice, so we decided to go on a walk to the top of the Forest. We stopped at the climbing tree to get our bodies movin' and groovin'!
After we did some climbing, we asked a challenging question of our Willows: "Can you find nature that is a line but not a stick?" The Willows definitely rose to the challenge, they found so many pieces of nature that made a line or contained lines!
MW: "The letters are lines!"
WN and FJ noticed bark makes lines!
LauS: "Grass makes a straight line!"
WN: "Seed pods have lots of lines!"
FJ and EM discovered lines in the grass and on the walnuts!
CL: "There's a line right down the middle."
SB: "This grass makes a line."
HL: "Look! There's lines on the bark and on the mushrooms."
HL also noticed there was lines inside the acorn cap!
It's always lots of fun to play in a leaf pile!
