Happy Stripes Day!
First we had to take a pictures together!
Then we worked on several canvases that explored line!
This canvas explored line and color. We used paint markers to make vertical lines, horizontal lines, and lots of squiggly lines!
Final Product:
This canvas explored lines inspired Paul Klee. Again, we made horizontal lines, vertical lines, diagonal lines, and curvy lines!
After we created all of the black lines, we then used color to fill in our lines using oil pastels!
Final Product:
One our final canvas we created lines using tape and then painted all of the space left open!
This is how it looks now, once it's dry we'll pull the tape off to see our final product!
We also had friends creating using new wintery loose parts!
They are so creative!
