Happy Monday, Willow families! This morning, we dived right into learning more about lines. We started by reading A Line Can Be by Laura Ijungkvist! The Willows were so excited to share what they knew about lines and what they noticed about the lines from the book. We discovered that lines can be:
"Thick"
"Thin"
"Skinny"
"Connected"
"Straight"
"Squiggly Squaggly"
"Wiggly"
"Curvy"
"Up"
"Down"
With this inspiration in mind, we put our thinking to the test! We drew with chalk and rulers to create straight, thin, and thick lines, drew vertically and horizontally with dry erase markers, decorated stones with wiki sticks, put together beautiful light table creations, and connected different types of lines to make shapes, letters, and more! We also enjoyed taking care of our babies in the baby space!
