The Willows made lots of discoveries in the Forest today. Last night's rainfall and wind brought lots of fallen leaves, branches, and little crawly bugs. Check us out!
LS and EM found a baby slug! They were very gentle with it.
MW found tiny white flowers!

SB found a "brown-ish and yellow-ish" leaf!
LS found a teeny tiny mushroom and decided to make it her pet! She lovingly named it "Mushy."
WN discovered a big leaf that had fallen from the sycamore tree.
LS and LB noticed these massive mushrooms growing on the trunk of this tree! They picked off small pieces of mushroom and made them their "pets!" They collected leaves and small sticks to make "cribs for their mushroom babies."
MW added seed pods to her collection of nature.
FJ also found a fallen sycamore leaf!

A rollie pollie! It crawled all over the stick FJ and EM found for it.
CG found a plant that was on the ground and decided to "plant it again." He dug a small hole and gently placed the plant inside.
HL found a green leaf!
