We have had such a wonderful first day in the Willow Room this morning!
We are going to share a lot of pictures today (we thought that might be something you would enjoy on the first day of school, haha)!
One of our favorite books that we like to read at the beginning of the year is Our Class is a Family by Shannon Olsen. At first the kids were confused about the idea of being a family at school but once we finished the book they were so excited to share ways that we can create space in our classroom to feel like we are a family! Here's the list that we came up with! It really shows how thoughtful, loving, and kind all of your children are!
Every year we take pictures of the children on the first day, this year was no different!

We spent our morning exploring our classroom, going on a tour of the building, checking out the outdoor spaces, and getting to know each other! It was a really special day!
