At the beginning of the week we talked with the children about being a part of the Willow Family and how we can make sure that everyone feels loved and taken care of every day. Throughout the week we have come back to our list and talked about what things on the list felt most important! Using these amazing ideas from the kids we were able to come up with four new agreements for our classroom!
Once we decided what was most important to us we had a small group of children work on drawing pictures that will represent their beautiful words!

These friends were so excited to share their work with the class!
We will be practicing these new agreements over the next few weeks, feel free to talk about them at home too!
During our morning meeting we also shared our Wish You Well ritual with the children.
Whenever someone is absent from school we put their picture in the heart and we sing our wish you well song to them. We finish it off by blowing them a kiss full of our well wishes!!!
