We started our morning with a little mystery!
Ms. Beth brought out a covered object, what could it be?
One friend immediately noticed that the object must have wheels because of the way it moved when it was put down. Another friend wondered if it was a big bus since it is square!
Then we changed the clues a bit, we took the box covering the object away so the kids could see what the shape could be...
We guessed that it might be:
a truck
a train
a car
a bus
And finally we guess that it was a wagon! Good job MM, it is a little wagon for us to share!
The kids were so excited to take it outside and play with it!
While our friends were outside trying out our new wagon some friends stayed inside to do some work on our city and to move our kitchen space around a bit. Check us out!
These friends began working on houses for our city!
"My house has to have a roof, I'm going to draw it on the top."
"I'm making an elevator, it goes all the way up!"
"I made a purple house, it goes perfect in the city."
"I made my house!"
"Mine is a boat and you can take it anywhere. I doesn't even need water!"
We had a blast playing in the space once the houses were added!
We also noticed that some of the Willows have been moving our furniture around when they have played in the kitchen space recently. So, Ms. Caroline sat with a small group and asked them, "Do we want to move this space around?" and low and behold, they did!
We started by moving the stove and fridge...
GW made a "small space" on the tile. She blocked it off with the stumps and circle table.
Progress on the space...
Then, we noticed that the Willows were playing with the materials on the floor, which we like to avoid so our things don't get broken or ruined. So, Ms. Caroline asked another important question! "What should we add?"
We decided to add a white table! It is the perfect height for cooking and the Willows discovered that the rocking chairs went nicely with it too! Our new space looks amazing!!
Be Happy, Be Kind
