We had a playdate with the Acorn room today!! We gathered at the front of the school to see what we could discover together. We had a very "sensory" filled time together. Scoops and sand were added to our sensory table, we got our fingers in some cloud dough from Acorn, and we scooped and dumped water!
Our garden became a small world once wooden builders, animals, and trees were added. Several different homes were built. There was a "turtle home" and a "squirrel home!" A "forest" was also created!
Acorn also kindly brought the mud kitchen and we added our kitchen tools to it! Herbs were cut with scissors and those were added to their cooking and baking as well. "Cupcakes" were baked and "soup" was "mixed!" Lots of delicious food was shared amongst the Acorns and Willows.
