The weather outside was so beautiful this morning that we took all of our learning outside! Even our morning meeting. The kids were so excited to sing our songs and do our affirmations in a new space, they did such a great job! The video below shares our affirmations with you!
We then worked on the question:
How do light and color play?
We used this peg wall to explore this question. The children really liked to see the colors shine through the holes and immediately noticed the shadow that it cast on the ground! One friend said, "woah, look at all of the colors! They are dancing!"
We placed small world pieces - animals, trees, and wooden builders - in the space outside of our door. The children sweetly made homes for the animals!
Our bug exploration continued...

What is a map? And added the focus of what would you add to make a map of your community or neighborhood?
