Work Together Wednesday! And tonight is SPARK Night at AFC!!!

Tonight from 6-7pm is Spark Night! Come have a fun night with your family checking out all of the beautiful work that all of our classrooms are doing!

When the children came to school today they wondered if we were going to go to the forest or not?! They were very worried that the rain would keep us away, well it did a little bit. We decided to head out with jackets, hoods, and umbrellas to see if the rain would go away for a bit so we could play in the forest. We got wet, we sang songs, and we said hello to the forest for a little bit!

In the two videos below these silly friends asked the rain to go away and for Mr. Sun to come out!

Even though Mr. Sun didn't listen to us we still enjoyed the walk!

These friends were so sweet sharing their umbrellas and enjoying some time in nature!

Since we only had a little time outside we took advantage of our morning to engage in some amazing Work Together Wednesday fun! The friends that stayed in the Willow Room worked on a park together and it is truly amazing!!!

These kids worked so hard together!!!

When lunch time came around the children were very concerned that their work was going to get destroyed. They decided that it needed protection! They made a chair barrier around their work and when the group from the collaboratory came to join us they made sure to tell them how to keep their park safe!

AW thought it was important to share their work with the other children so that they could see it's importance as well. He did a whole walk through of all that the park entailed!
