As we continue to explore ourselves and those around us we wondered what the children thought about love and today felt like the perfect day to ask them!
We asked: What is love? and How do you show love?
Here are their answers (and they gave the BEST answers, we love how children's brains think)!
EF: Love is cool and sweet. I draw hearts and write I love you and give hugs to my family
GP: hug people
AW: When someone gives you something that you love Friendship is about love
KA: giving hugs and kisses
DS: daddy gives me hugs and feeds me, mommy gives me kisses
GP: it is in your heart that you love people, you never stop loving them
SR: to care about people
GH: go to the beach with mommy, daddy, and my uncle
HL: give a hug
EK: I think it means that you hug people
CS: care about others
AH: drawing hearts with my momma and my sisters and my teachers
ES: a special mom in the heart
DL: love my mommy and my daddy
MH: with presents
MM: play with my brother all day
LG: love for ALL our families
AW: it makes people feel special
HR: you like people, you give them presents
MU: you love your family, they give me kisses
We also took our learning outside and shared the love with Spruce! We made paper heart confetti with heart punches, mixed pretty colored water, created drawings full of love, and much, much more!
