Wednesday Forest Day!

The Willows had a very fun and busy morning in the Forest today! We brought along the digital microscope for the first time and we made a lot of up-close discoveries of...

A piece of bark!

The dirt!

Ms. Caroline's pants!

And SR's shoe!

We also brought along our magnifying glasses, colored pencils, paper, and clipboards to document our findings!!

Drawing the many leaves GP sees

CS drew the vines and leaves she saw behind and in front of her!

KA drew a "rainbow candy"

DL drew a "remote controlled car for Mommy!"

MH's "hot dog monster that sticks its tongue out to scare people" and a "Ghost Buster with hair!"

We also saw a lot of wonderful pretend play happening... 

These friends were riding in a "school bus" with MM as the "bus driver!" 

"Beep, beep, beep! I'm here at school" says GH

AW and ES "washing their spaceship" with the berries they picked! "Scrub, scrub, scrub!" says AW

AW and AW also began to pretend the Forest was "Willow Family City." AW would "sign" his friends in by asking them, "What's your name?" and then he would write their name down on his clipboard! 

Ms. Caroline and Ms. Beth got signed in by AW!

Then, AW would help by writing the friends who were signed in a "ticket" to the city! Ms. Caroline's ticket is on the right! She was also "counting how many friends were in the city"
