In the Forest today, we decided to bring paper and jumbo crayons to make leaf rubbings! Some friends chose big leaves, while others chose small leaves. Our smart Willows noticed that every time they rolled or rubbed the paper with the crayon, the leaves showed up and there were lots of lines to inspect!! Check them out below!!
EF and SR noticed that leaves "have lines!"
After making her leaf rubbing, KA decided to draw some lines on top!
EF noticed with her magnifying glass that the walnut had "lines" on its outer shell 
We also made some other discoveries during our time! Leaves, acorns, cotton branches, and berries!!
