Reminder: No School Monday

Today was another day of firsts!

We had our first fire drill this morning and the kids did amazing!

We went over our plan for when fire drills happen:

We line up at our back door follow the teacher outside and across the circle driveway to our safe spot in the grassy area on the other side of the parking spots!

We encouraged the children to talk with their families about their safety plan in case of a fire or an emergency! We hope it can lead to a good conversation at home, too!!!

We also celebrated our first birthday celebration!!!

As you saw on our blog yesterday this weekend is Ms. Caroline's birthday. The children decided that we would "make" something for the birthday person so we asked Ms. Caroline what she would like to have made for her. She said that she wanted to do a painting together and have a dance party!

The children made some beautiful artwork for Ms. Caroline and we hope that she had an amazing celebration with us! We can't wait for our next birthday!
