A Special Message from Ms. Beth

I wanted to let you all in on something very close to my heart. My husband and I are in the process of adopting a two-and-a-half-year-old little girl, and our hearts are already so full. This little one has brought so much light into our world, and we’re incredibly grateful for the chance to welcome her into our family. As we take this step, there will be moments of settling in, growing together, and learning our new rhythm. I will be taking some time to bond with her after winter break but will be back in February! I know that Ms. Caroline and Ms. Jessica will continue creating an amazing learning environment for the children in Willow every day! Thank you for being such a supportive and caring community. Welcome Back and A Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to WN! She had her birthday over the break, so we thought we would celebrate today. She chose some friends to join her in painting her birthday bubble and turned out so beautiful! We hope you enjoy your special day, WN! We spent the rest of the morning relearning our routines, exploring some new materials, and sweetly making creations together! Revisiting Marta and a Happy Birthday!

Welcome back! We hope you all had a nice, relaxing weekend. We started with a birthday celebration this morning. CG had his birthday yesterday, so we thought we would celebrate him today! He picked two friends to decorate his birthday bubble with him. It turned out beautifully. We hope you enjoy your special day, CG!! At morning meeting, we revisited Marta Minujin and her line artwork! Here are some noticings about her work: CG: "She is a paint artist. She paints diagonal lines." WN: "I see patterns and lines!" LauS: "She paints a lot of colored lines." FJ: "I see horizontal lines!" PK: "She is a pencil artist." HA: "She uses up and down lines and side to side lines!"
