Every Friday is the kids favorite day: Capers and Pizza for lunch. Its really cute how excited they all are each Friday. Today in the Willow room, Straight Noodles was open for business, and it was nonstop all during Capers. We also continued our exploration of paper with a provocation presented with cut strips of paper, glue sticks, and pieces of cardboard to see what they might create. In our sensory table, there was kinetic sand, cups and krinkle cut slicing tools for them to cut the sand. Our light table was covered with tissue paper and then the mirror and colored clear blocks were put for exploration. Enjoy photos of our day.
VF was so focused on his creation and he was really excited to share it.
Our Acorn friends found the cookbooks and spent the morning talking about food with each other. It was contagious and many kids joined in looking at the many cookbooks we have in the restaurant.
