The rain held off and Willow got to go play in the forest today! It was muddy and cold, but we had so many adventures.
On our walk down Gray Ave, we saw a Barred Owl fly across the street from one tree to another and we heard it hoot! It was really exciting for the few of us that got to see it fly. Unfortunately it happened so fast that no pictures were taken, but memories were made. We'll be on the lookout next week!
Some friends were fishing in the puddles
Some friends were Going on a Bear Hunt
Ice Cream for sale!
Some friends were very hard at work to "chop" wood.
And we might have solved the mystery of the "snake" that was spotted last Thursday "sleeping."
It's the tail of a possum!! We discovered it's daytime sleeping spot and all we could see was it's back side and it's tail sticking out. We looked, but definitely left it alone. It was pretty cool to solve that mystery.
And there were puddles and mud, which means lots of fun!
How deep are these puddles?
It was one of the best days we've had in the forest.
Be Happy, Be Kind.
