We had a couple of new experiences this morning!
At our morning meeting we talked about fire drills and then practiced (without the alarm) how we do a fire drill in the Willow Room! The kids did a great job lining up, following the teacher to our spot, and sitting together while we counted everyone! Way to go Willows!!!
Some friends were happy to see their teacher from last year!
We got to experience the sandbox for the first time and one friend said, "this is amazing!"
We also brought out our wagon with paper and writing utensils, magnifying glasses, and sidewalk chalk. Check us out!
As we navigate through the school year you will see lots of pictures of children exploring and documenting what they see. We are starting to learn about these materials and can't wait to see how the children grow in their expertise with them!
