We noticed something interesting across the street yesterday when we walked to the forest. We decided to go check out it today! Guess what we noticed...
It's chickens!!!
We were very interested in what they eat, what they like to do all day, and why they smell the way that they do!
We tried talking to the chickens in the video above. I asked them what they were saying and one friend said, "hi chickens, we love you."
After we hung out with the chickens we headed out on a walk around the neighborhood.
We stopped to smell the flowers!
And jump in some great puddles!
We even practiced how to safely cross the street! It was a fabulous walk! We can't wait to visit the chickens again sometime soon!
Once back at school we continued to learn about each other's families. The kids are really enjoying sharing with each other!!!
We have our first birthday celebration happening next week! As you know each class decides how they want to celebrate with their kids. Our class is having each child decide what they want to do, so ET told us that she wants to make a rainbow painting and have a dance party! We will post pictures of our first birthday celebration next week!!!
