As we continue seeing an interest in the way children use blocks and nature materials to build homes for people and habitats for animals we had an idea of using a box to peak the children's interest. During our meeting today we discussed how we wanted to use the wooden box that Ms. Beth brought in a few days ago. After much discussion we came up with the idea of painting the box first and then we could make a beautiful home for the animals. We couldn't decide which color we wanted to paint the box, so we decided to vote. Each friend chose a color they wanted the box to be and wrote their name in that color. After everyone had a chance to vote, a few friends counted each of the colors and found that blue and purple had the most number of votes. Because it was a tie, the children decided together that both colors should be used and therefore, it was. Check them out below!
We also had friends who continued ramp building and had some really great designs.
