This yucky weather stopped us from making it to the forest the morning but we found some fun in nature anyway! We headed out on a walk with Maple Room and it was fantastic!
Before we left we put on rainboots and grabbed our raincoats and umbrellas!
(Some children borrowed some from school, which was very exciting)
Off we headed, rain gear all ready but ready for what???
How about some puddles!
We found our first puddle walking up Gray. It was the smallest puddle but we thought is was the best puddle you could ever find! The kids went running to it and jumped right in. JC said, "a puddle, I found a puddle!"
And then....
We found a large puddle and the kids went running!

As you would guess we had some children that were very excited to jump in the big puddle and others that were a little bit more timid. So you will notice some children hanging around the edges of the puddle while others are right in the middle of it. Regardless of where they stood most of them got wet and muddy so be ready for their mess when you pick them up!
We were so glad that we still got to enjoy a little bit of nature this morning, we can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
