We want to start off our day by wishing the happiest of birthdays to ET!
She turned 4 yesterday!
We asked her what she wanted to do to celebrate her birthday and she said that she wanted to paint a rainbow pictures and have a dance party!
We started with the dance party. Check out the pictures and video below to see all of the fun!
Later in the morning she chose to paint on a canvas with these puffy paints. Check out her beautiful birthday artwork!
Happy Birthday, ET!!!
We had so much fun at the forest today, too!
It was a day full of exploration. collections and climbing! Lots of climbing!!!
"I found acorns!"
We spent a lot of our time exploring this giant tree that fell down on the outside of the forest. The kids were very interested in the the little pieces that broke apart and why the tree fell. One friend said, "there was a big storm and the storm made it fall." Another friend said, "maybe it was ready to fall and that's why it broke."
After we explored the broken pieces a little bit the kids began to climb all over the tree! We took risks, showed awesome bravery, and loved every minute of it!
"What's in here?"
"I can climb up! Look, look!"
We love searching the space and finding all kinds of things to collect. This friend found acorns, sticks, and leaves that she put into a little collection to play with!
More things to collect.
WM said, "take a picture of this pieces of wood, it's got weird marks."
"Ms. Beth take a picture of us!"
We did spend a little time inside of the forest. The kids were so excited to play on the big tree outside of the forest that we don't have very many pictures from inside of the forest! Check out our fun!
More climbing going on!
In the video below you can see some friends that were pretending to fishing in the forest!
