I can't believe that this was our final day going to the forest this school year. It has certainly been a wonderful journey! The weather was great as we began our last trek to the forest. We were a bit early when we arrived so we decided to walk to the top of the forest. As we neared the entrance to the top of the forest the children couldn't resist exploring this beautiful tree.
We took a few moments to enjoy a special treat before entering the forest. After enjoying our special treat a couple of friends noticed something strange on the ground near the stump and wondered what it could be. FD said "It looks like some kind of fungus!"
Finally, everyone was ready to go into the forest. ZW excitedly said "Let's run" and off they went! Check out all the fun they had exploring, running, climbing, and playing games.
Although we were sad to leave our favorite place today, we were happy to have had this time to be together having all the fun we could possibly imagine! We have loved growing, learning and being a part of your children's lives throughout this year!
