Family Friday was such a special day! The children were so excited to share the artwork that they created with their families! Each child that brought a family portrait had the chance to share their portrait, tell everyone about their family, and tell everyone something special about the people that they love the most!
We're having a book sale!
While drawing this morning a group of children began to have a conversation about having a book sale. They discussed what kind of books that they could make and then drew a picture to represent each book. When you're ready to buy a book, just pick the number of the book that you want and the children will make you one!
"I want a dinosaur one."
"That's number seven."
"I got the Goofy book!"
"Mine is a dinosaur book too!"
This week has been so much fun, celebrating the Week of the Young Child! The children have looked forward to each new days theme and had so much fun planning everything! Thank you to all of you for supporting us and helping us celebrate how unbelievable young children really are!
