Happy Thursday Families! It has certainly been an exciting week filled with some of the most Creative and Awesome ideas from our young children in celebration of Week of the Young Child. Today was Artsy Thursday and after much discussion with our Willow friends they decided since it was our forest day that we should paint the nature we see in the forest! Brilliant idea! When we got to the forest we stopped to check out the newly planted Wild Plum trees and then headed through the forest to see the Sycamore tree which was planted by none other than our friends in the Sycamore room. We are so happy and appreciative of the hard work, beautiful planted trees and the dedication to all who took the time to beautify our forest area. We will always be cognizant and respectful of the work done and will do our part to keep it beautiful.
Before the children got started on their artwork they sat and told to Ms. Beth all about the discussion and plans we had talked about the day prior in regards to painting what they saw in nature. They thought it would be a great idea to use small sticks along with paintbrushes to do their nature paintings. Check out their beautiful artwork!!!
