This sunny day called for a long walk this morning and the kids were up for it!
As we walked to the bottom of the playscape we noticed something different about the garden area. There were new decorations at the entrance! We wondered why and who created this interesting entrance to the garden. We explained to them that this was going to become AFC's area to remember and think about our beloved teacher Ms. TC! So, soon there will be a lovely seating area dedicated to her and we wanted to make it as beautiful as possible for all to enjoy! We can't wait to enjoy this new space inspired by Ms. TC!
While in the classroom we asked the children where they might want to go on our walk. They immediately and emphatically said that they wanted to go to the police station. We looked up where the police station was on our iPad and were so excited to see that it is right next to the fire station! So off we went to check out the Webster Groves Police Station!
There were some very cool wooden reindeer at the front of city hall!
We checked out a map of Webster Groves and found Ambrose on it!
When we got to the police station we saw two police officers walking in. They stopped and talked to us for a little bit! Thank you police officers, we appreciate all that you do!
On our way back we noticed that a big tree at the top of the forest was cut down so of course we had to stop and check it out!
We'll be able to check out the trees again tomorrow because it's Forest Day!
