We were very busy this morning as we continued our work on redesigning our classroom.
These friends took their time thinking about the different spaces and materials in our classroom. They were thoughtful about what spaces should move and what spaces they thought were in the perfect spot!
During our morning meeting the children that have created designs shared them with their classmates. We are going to continue the conversation and hopefully begin moving the room around next week!
We were supposed to go to the forest today but the temperatures were a little too cold for that so we made sure to get some time on the playscape to enjoy the snow!
Snow people were a part of our morning!
WK ran up to me and said, "Ms. Beth look I have snow gloves again!"
We enjoyed some time cleaning off all of the surfaces! Who knew that pushing snow off of tables and playscape equipment could be so much fun!
We found icicles!
"Ms. Beth look it's the shape of a shoe! It's shoe ice!"
Two friends worked on making a snow family. They said that they made a snow mom, a snow baby and a snow brother. They had begun working on the snow dad but we had to go inside so maybe they'll finish it this afternoon!
In case you were wondering the snow brother has a hat on his head because he wants to be a pilot but he's still too young to be a pilot so he is just thinking about it! We are good storytellers in Willow!!!
