We hoped that the rain would go away long enough for us to enjoy some puddle jumping but unfortunately that wasn't the case! Luckily, the kids were able to still find some excitement in our day!
Some friends went back to work on making tape and paper creations.
They love making animals (mostly cats) and telling stories!
Some friends wanted to make ramps. They asked for balls to see how far they would roll!
The kids were then determined to figure out a way to stop the ball from going too far. They placed a block at the end of their ramp to see if it would work! Check out the video below to see how they did!
Later the ramps got revamped and they tried a new way to stop the ball at the bottom. They thought it was funny that the ball bounced over the block at the bottom a bunch of times! But they also worked to figure out how to make the ball not bounce over the bottom block. After many trials they figured out that if you start the ball further down the ramp then it won't bounce over!
We had to get out of the classroom for a bit but there's not a lot of spaces for us to visit with the way things are right now. We decided to create an obstacle course in the hallway with materials that haven't been use by any other classroom since last week! The kids loved it!
The video below shows you all of our obstacle course fun! They did such a great job working together and creating the best obstacle course ever!
