We want to wish the happiest of birthdays to our friend Faye today!
The kids were so excited to celebrate our first birthday of the year. Faye decided that the wanted to celebrate her birthday by making origami and drinking cherry kool-aid! We began with the origami this morning and the kids loved it! Faye wanted to make a fox, so then everyone wanted to make a fox! She has a whole family of foxes to take home today!

Later Faye wanted to make a snake and this is the amazing creation that she worked on! I'm wondering if we might be continuing some of our learning from last year and bringing paper folding to our class work this year...
This afternoon the class got to enjoy some cherry kool-aid with Faye! There's a lot of happy faces in these pics!
We hope today was all that she hoped it would be and we feel so lucky that we got to celebrate with her! Happy Birthday Faye!
