A stick will do the trick!

REMINDER

TOMORROW IS PAJAMA DAY!

The kids were so excited to try out the new rain suits that the PTO bought for us and we were determined to go to the forest today no matter what the weather threw at us so it worked out perfectly!

We waited in our zone for Mr. Brian to join us so we could walk to the forest and luckily there were some fantastic puddles to jump in to test out our new suits!

Once we got to the forest we took a moment to grab a group picture and then we were off!

WM: I found the perfect berries for a potion.

WK: Oh ya! Let's mix a good potion, hehehe!"

WK yelled to his friends, "hey I found a big puddle, we could make potions in it!"

The friends all followed to see where the puddle was!

AC said, "let's jump in it!"

They then each took turns jumping in the puddle but then decided that they wanted to make potions using this spot so they went on a hunt for potion ingredients!

WM excitedly exclaimed, "look I found more berries! I'm going to get some for the potion, WK do you want some of these berries too?"

WK replied, "ya, we need to get a whole bunch!"

The two boys picked berries together and took them over to the big puddle. They added them to the puddle and then jumped on them to "mix them up". WK said, "let's go find more things to add!"

WK happened upon some interesting plants growing. He said, "this would be perfect. I think I have to pull some of this off and add it to my potion. It will make you not like it!"

JD said, "we have to mix it up and add the ingredients."

ZG threw in a stick and said, "a stick will do the trick!"

She then found a leaf and said, "this is a magical leaf, we have to add it to the potion!"

JD responded, "put it in and then we'll stir it up!"

While some friends were making potions, others were playing a game where they had to get up onto the log before the water got too high! The log became a boat and they ended up in the ocean! They convinced all the friends around them to join in their fun. They laughed and squealed as they helped each other get onto the boat so that they wouldn't fall into the rising waters!
