As started our walk to the forest the kids started to notice something about the trees around us!
ZW: Ms. Beth the leaves are changing!
NC: They are falling to the ground!
HB: There's yellow and red ones on the trees.
As they walked they kept picking up leaves that interested them.
ZW: This one looks like a dinosaur.
HB: This ones like a heart.
JB: Look at this tiny one!
SB: Mines a heart too!
PH: I found pods, they're soft.
Of course we had to jump in the puddles along the way!
Once we got to the forest the kids ran excitedly into the trees! I immediately heard my name yelled from several spots.
CS: Ms. Beth, Ms. Beth there's more climbing trees for us!
NC: We have so many more trees to climb in!
The kids ran around trying out new trees to climb in and of course heading back to the ones that we have loved for years. With so many trees that have fallen down the forest is climbing paradise!
We had a wonderful day at the forest and enjoyed our walk back to school!
