To add an exciting element to our day we decided to caper with our hallway today! We couldn't wait to share our learning with our friends!
Our friends LOVE to shadow dance. Today we broke out the Groove music and the kids went to town! We had a lot of friends flossing. A new friend joined our class and said, "I don't know how to do that." FD said, "it's flossing and you go like this." She then showed the friend how to move her body so she too could floss!
We added a new provocation by hanging nature under our light. We put paper, pencils and colored pencils on the table and the kids went to work! They were very intentional in their pencil strokes, looking at the shadows and trying to make drawings of the shadows that they saw.
We continued our light and shadow building as well. The kids like to look at the shadows on the wall and then try to build what they see. We saw a lot of creativity this morning!
We also placed water colors on our light table to remind us of our mosaic work. The kids want to put them in our windows so we have stained glass windows just like the ones that we saw on our walk!
