Happy Monday Families! We had an exciting morning in Willow today. As you know from previous blogs, we have been studying the language of Shadow and Light. Friends extended their exploration of light and shadows on the projector and created some really cool designs. Friends also used their creative imaginations to create, build and design with a variety of materials throughout the morning.
Friends worked with big blocks to build a rescue boat and designed a house with bedrooms using the jenga blocks.
Can you believe we had snow in our room?! "It's fluffy snow, fluffy snow" a friend chanted. Another friend began singing: "It's snowing, it's snowing! It's a snow shower!"
Lastly, several friends designed a obstacle course in the hallway and were excited to move through it. They experienced with various ways of movement from jumping, hopping, and for some, running through the course.
