We've had such an amazing first day of school! Willow Room has been busy exploring our space and making new friends! Check us out:
"Happy First Day!"
We know some kids had a little bit of a rough drop off so we met with the class and talked a little bit about our feelings. We read the book The Kissing Hand and then blew kisses to everyone's mommies and daddies! Your kids might ask if you felt their kisses come flying to you!
After meeting we walked around our room for a tour and then decided that we needed to take a tour of the building! We saw some beautiful materials to work with in our room and some amazing spaces to explore in our building!
In the kid kitchen the kids said that we could make all kinds of things. Some ideas were:
Salad, cupcakes, popcorn, cookies, and pie.
We fed the fish in the office with Ms. Liz.
We said hello to Nurse Sarah and gave her lots of hugs!
We checked out the collaboratory and the Tank where we got to see Ms. Marty!
After our tour we headed back to Willow to have a little dance party and check out the materials in our room! We had a great day!
