We headed back to the forest today to continue our exploration of spring. The kids were excited to get back down into the forest and see all of the changes. It was muddy but fun!
We took back our bowls and pans so the kids could "cook" in the forest. They made some delicious soup again today! We may have to make some soup back at school sometime soon!
"I see a bug. Look look do you see it?!"
"We're just relaxin."
"Look at all these flowers, aren't they beautiful. We need to bring some back to school with us."
"We have to find more flowers! They are everywhere!"
"Can we make something with these?"
We brought back quite a collection of flowers and leaves. We will make something beautiful with them!
Today was Artsy Thursday and lots of fun art activities were happening back at Ambrose so we made sure to bring some art with us to the forest! As I'm sure you've noticed the kids have been really interested in all the changes in weather and flowers especially. We took with us paper and pencils so the kids could draw all the beautiful changes that are happening around us! They did a great job on Artsy Thursday!
