We went back to looking at our maps today! The kids were excited to look up their addresses and see where their houses were in comparison to AFC. As we looked at the maps some of the children wanted to draw pictures of their houses and the streets that they live on so we did that as well. It was great to hear the kids talk about some of the street names that they did know. Big Bend and Elm were very popular and many children recognized highway 44 immediately! One of friends even said, "my dad is that number, he's 44!" Other children were really excited to see when a friends house was close to theirs. One child said, "you're by my house, we can have a playdate!" We will keep adding addresses and then maybe some Webster landmarks for the kids to look at!
