Happy Thursday Everyone!
We capered with our end of the hallway. Willow closed it's doors and we took our learning outside! The kids had the choice to stay inside to explore in Sycamore or Seedling. Or they could go outside where Willow and Acorn teachers had fun things planned!
We played in bubbles!
We had a sensory table with water in it!
We took balls outside and decided to have a race with them! They said the sidewalk was like a big ramp. We had two soccer balls, a small rubber ball, a medium rubber ball and a basketball. We wanted to see which one made it to the bottom first!
The basketball was the winner!!!
We also tested other areas of the playscape that look like ramps! We used the hill and the slide. We decided that balls roll quicker down the slide than the bumpy hill!
We made drawings with sidewalk chalk!
This friend made a smiley face with it's tongue sticking out!
This friend made a rainbow!
These friends made a nest for their ball. They said it was an egg that was about to hatch!
The Acorns have been working on making pathways. We helped them use their pieces of pathways to get from the door to the snail on the hillside!
We dug for treasure in the sandbox too! It was a really fun day and we hope everyone has an amazing Spring Break!!! See you on the 26th!
