Our work continues...

We took the new recipe that we wrote yesterday and tried it out! We were able to make some very tasty rice crispy treats!

We had two groups make a batch of rice crispy treats so we could share them with Sycamore! The kids were calling them friendship rice crispies! It just goes to show how incredibly sweet, caring, and loving all of our kids are!

We took the treats to lunch with us and unfortunately didn't get any pictures of the kids eating them but we can assure you that they thoroughly enjoyed them! And so did Sycamore!

Our group working with ramps wanted to figure out how to measure how far the different balls were going in order to see which one was going the furthest. They started off measuring by walking the distance between the ramp and the ball. They counted their steps as they went but they found that this form of measurement was very inconsistent.

They talked about how to make the measuring tool the same for every measurement. They decided to use the keva blocks because they are all the same size. This measurement was much more accurate!

This is what our ramp and ball looks like!
Documenting our work

Another group had fun in the hallway conducting their race trials! We used real stopwatches today and then recorded our times on the clipboards!
