We got back to our classroom studies today! The kids love exploring with the hangers, rings, hoops and the lights and shadows. Today we saw them use the ribbons in a new way!
This friend was really excited about the robot that she made out of loose materials!
We continued our work on our paintings. Last week we painted the other side of these circles with cool colors (blue, purple, green and white). This week we painted the second side with warm colors (red, orange, yellow and white). We used a technique that would stamp the shapes (circle and square) on their discs. Some friends stamped while others decided to roll, push the paint around and even use their hands! We love their creativity!
We had some kids go back to working on ramps today as well. We started talking with them about the placement of their large ramp last week. It was very big and in front of the walkway to the cubby room and bathroom. We decided to give our ramp area a little bit of a perimeter! They did a great job executing some very thoughtful ramps!
