We turned a corner of our room into a dramatic play pretend area. Today, friends pretended to be a family sitting down to a lovely dinner of spaghetti!

Relaxing after the family meal!
Many friends worked on drawing and writing today. It is exciting to see how the children's drawings are becoming more detailed and complex. They love to tell stories about their work.
Another new area in our room is the light area. We added an overhead projector. The children explored containers with colored water on the projector. They noticed how the light affected the colors of the water and the shadows the projector cast on the wall.
Ms. Katie helped us sew more pillow cases for our cushions. We enjoyed learning about the sewing process and helping her work the machine.
