We continue to explore with ramps. The kids are slowly trying to build more elaborate ramps and are having to figure out how to make what we have as materials work for what they want them to do.
This block has a hole in it and the cars kept falling in the hole. R wanted his cars to make it the floor and this was his solution! He quickly realized that this wasn't going to work either because the car stopped at the board. He then started releasing his car in a certain spot on the side of the blue block so it would go around the hole! Great problem solving!
E wanted his cars to go all the way down without stopping in the middle and this was his solution! It worked really well for him!
Extending ramps and giving them a place to stop so they don't fly across the room! Great Planning!
We got some new magnet builders today and the kids had fun exploring with them!
