We excitedly made our first trip to "The Forest"!
(The forest is the woodsy area at the bird sanctuary)
The kids couldn't wait to run in and explore!
We encountered a giant tree that has fallen. Right away we found out who our risk takers and climbers were!
We met up with our awesome friends from Birch!
Some friends stayed together, one friend helping the other find the courage to explore!
We found a spider web (it's hard to see in this picture but you can see it in the picture below). Luckily there wasn't a spider in it!
Children's aesthetic awareness is being heightened as they play in nature. They are seeing all the natural beauty around us!
While playing in the forest we are able to be explorers, risk takers, and finders of natural beauty! We are becoming better and better at using our gross and fine motor skills. We are having fun, making friendships and most importantly finding confidence and joy in ourselves!
Many of our friends will becoming home sweaty and dirty! It just means we had a fun, engaging day!
