Yesterday, we mixed yellow flower petals with red berries hoping to make our own orange water colors from nature. We let it simmer on the stove so the colors would be released.
Our results were more brown than orange!
Today, we decided to try to make green. We cut up green leaves and grasses.
We mixed our green things in the blender with a bit of water. We were excited to see such a bright green. We put this on the stove to simmer. Stay tuned to see how it turned out!
Our next mission was to collect purple flowers to make purple water colors. We will need to get a lot of flowers for this!
Friends also collected some flowers for Ms. Beth!
