The kids have been talking for awhile about making a helmet to wear in outer space. We finally found the perfect bucket to transform into an astronauts helmet! First we had to cut holes in so we could see (and a couple air holes so we can breath!).
Of course we wanted to decorate our space helmet.
While watching the kids this morning we had a couple of friends start playing baseball with some playdough. So we thought why not play baseball in the gym! First we met as a group and talked about the materials we needed, what the rules of the game were going to be and how to actually play the game! They did a great job!
Here we are searching for a bat, ball and bases. We found a bat and a couple of different balls to try while looking in the motor room.
We found bases in the gym and set them up to make a baseball diamond!
We found out that we are really good at baseball!!!
Run Run Run
It is very impressive how good these kids were at baseball! I like how this friend even threw his bat so he could run around the bases faster!
