The children have been wanting to add moon rocks to outer space so today we looked at pictures of moon rocks and looked for rocks on the hillside. Children were convinced there were some out there that could be moon rocks or ones that looked similar so they brought magnifying glasses to get a closer look. :)
We also had a group make Galaxy Oobleck! The children wanted to know more about the Milky Way Galaxy so we read about it in one of our space books today and watched videos with real life images of the Milky Way! Really cool stuff!
