Learning to be an Architect!

Many thanks to Emmett's mom, Amanda Norris, for coming in today to teach us about what an architect does. She talked with the children about how they can sketch and design the three little pig houses. We learned so much and were able to see pictures of blueprints and pictures of houses after they are built. It really helped the children better understand the process of building houses. She read the book "Harold and the Purple Crayon" and left the book "Gingerbread Architect" for the children to use when drawing blueprint designs. :)
