Today we went to the Bird Sanctuary for Forest Monday! Instead of just exploring on the hillside, the children were able to go into the woods area and see what was in the "forest". As a way to interact more with nature we decided to start using the wooded area as another outdoor classroom. The children loved it! They collected nature, explored the different pathways in the woods, and climbed on fallen down tree trunks. There was a lot of problem solving, bravery, and excitement that took place. We can't wait to go back!
