We projected a few more birds on the wall today and the children traced them. We are hoping to continue adding birds to fly around our room! Then, we came up with a list of names and the children voted on them.
Introducing....Rainbow Bird! Kendra the Hummingbird! and Cherry Red the Cardinal!
A lot of the names they came up with were colors. Just when we think the children have moved onto something new, they circle back around to a strong interest, like colors!
We are working on a handful of different things, and it might seem all over the place to you, but we are in fact finding very strong ties to it all.
