A small group of children were very intrigued by the storm today. We went to all the windows we knew of in the building to find out what we could see and hear. We found and saw some similar things, but lots of different things too!
The children also wanted to find lightning and thunder. How will we know if find lightning and thunder?
"We can see them both in the sky. I saw the lightning, but the thunder is loud."
"You know because it's really powerful."
What else did we notice?
It looks like somebody is taking a shower outside.
Don't worry, it's good for the plants.
If it's so rainy how are we gonna get home?
There are mud puddles!
Well, the cars are going to get wet.
